PM Cat Terms of Use — Version 2.2.4

These Terms govern the PM Cat 2.2.4 mobile application provided by L&J Innovative Art and Tech, an independent developer in Sunnyvale, USA ("we", "us", or "our"). By using this version, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Earlier-version terms remain at https://reminda-b27cc.web.app/terms.

1. Eligibility and license

You must be at least 13, or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction. If using PM Cat for an organization, you must be authorized to do so.

We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law. App Store downloads are also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a separate custom EULA is provided in App Store Connect. These Terms do not remove mandatory rights you have under applicable law or Apple's applicable terms.

2. A local-only app

Version 2.2.4 provides projects, workspaces, tasks, recurrence and progress, important dates, templates, check-ins, local reminders, widgets, share cards, optional local profiles, and user-initiated backup-file export and restore. It does not offer online account creation or login, cloud synchronization or real-time collaboration. Future features are not a commitment and should not be relied upon when choosing how to protect your records.

Local profiles organize content on one device. Their numeric identifiers are not globally unique or online identities. Profiles are not password-protected; another person using your unlocked device may access them. Only the selected profile sends reminders. Choose names and avatar images you have the right to use.

Existing local content is retained during an ordinary update. Content stored only in an older cloud account is not automatically downloaded. This update neither deletes old cloud records nor closes old accounts. Contact miaojitale@gmail.com, or use Send Feedback under Support PM Cat in Settings, for access or deletion requests. Earlier installations and legacy records remain subject to their applicable terms and privacy policy.

3. Reminders and platform limitations

Reminders, notifications and widgets are best-effort conveniences. Their delivery and appearance depend on iOS permissions, Focus modes, device state, scheduling limits, time-zone settings and platform behavior. Due times, animations and widget refreshes are not guaranteed to be exact or continuously available.

PM Cat is not an emergency, medical, legal, financial or safety-critical reminder system. Keep independent reminders for obligations where a missed notification could cause harm. You are responsible for decisions based on app content.

4. Your content and backups

You retain ownership of your content. Version 2.2.4 processes it locally to provide the features you use; it does not grant us a right to upload or host new app content. If you send content to support or share it yourself, you authorize only the processing needed for that action, subject to the Privacy Policy and the recipient's applicable terms.

You are responsible for the information you enter and share and for having the necessary rights. Do not store passwords, authentication secrets, payment credentials or other highly sensitive information in PM Cat.

You can move or recover your data by exporting a backup file and restoring it on a compatible version of PM Cat. There is no automatic or PM Cat-managed cloud backup. You are responsible for making current backups, choosing a secure destination and retaining access to your files. Files are not password-protected or encrypted by PM Cat. A selected Files provider may synchronize your file under its own terms.

Restore offers a merge option that adds missing records while retaining existing records on identity conflicts, or a separately confirmed option to replace all current local profiles and content. Review the selected mode and profile matching before restoring. Missing previously deleted records can return during merge. Creation and restore support up to five profiles on a device. One internal pre-restore recovery copy is retained until the next restore, but deleting PM Cat removes that copy too. Previously exported files and operating-system backups are not erased when you delete a local profile. Keep only copies you need. The backup format is versioned, and app updates are designed to read earlier supported PM Cat backup formats; an older app may require an update to read a newer format. Damaged, incomplete, oversized or unsupported files cannot be restored.

Device backups and transfers, when available, are controlled by the operating system and your settings. Deleting the app, losing or resetting your device, or storage failure may cause data loss. Keep separate copies of important information; we cannot recover content stored only on your device.

5. Acceptable use and third parties

Do not use the app unlawfully, infringe another person's rights, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access to systems, or use sharing or support channels for fraud, spam or harassment.

Apple services, chosen sharing destinations, email providers and the provider hosting our public legal/support pages operate under their own terms and privacy policies. They are not a promise of PM Cat cloud-sync availability. We do not control their service availability.

6. Privacy

The policy for this version is available offline in Settings and online at https://reminda-b27cc.web.app/legal/2.2.4/privacy. It explains local storage, user-initiated sharing, support and treatment of legacy account data.

7. Ending use and changes

You may stop using PM Cat at any time. Consider data-loss risks before uninstalling. Uninstalling does not delete legacy server records; request their deletion separately. We may end your license for a material violation of these Terms or when required by law, subject to mandatory consumer rights.

We may update the app or these Terms, identifying material changes and providing notice where required by law. No future service or feature is guaranteed.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, security, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee notification delivery, data recovery or compatibility with every device configuration.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of profits, data or business opportunity arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use the app during the 12 months before the claim, to the extent such a limit is lawful. These limitations do not exclude liability or consumer remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including protections applicable in your jurisdiction.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise. Disputes are subject to the courts of Santa Clara County, California, unless applicable law gives you a different mandatory right or forum.
